Perhaps the name should have been “PreNup”. When we married, Bob made it pretty clear to Darcy (and she agreed) that at some point in their future together, they would be spending a significant amount of time on a boat. Bob has a prior history with boats it seems, and has simply been biding his time until the opportune moment (and vessel) arrived. Well, we’ve now found both - albeit almost 18 years later!
She is a Nordhavn 55 named Enterprise (seems appropriate for us, and its considered bad luck to re-name a boat, so no, “PreNup” for now). Yes, we’re (both!) excited. In fact, so excited that in the first 18 months since we’ve owned her, we’ve traveled over 10,000 nautical miles from Alaska’s Glacier Bay to the warm waters of Mexico’s Sea of Cortez.
